Week 1 Term 2 - Boys Super 6 Football Squad

Morena boys, I have attached the squad list (this includes reserves). As you know the decision has been tough as there are multiple talented players who have trialled for the same position. Thanks again for turning up and having a fantastic attitude, it was awesome to see! Remember you need to use your school email address to open the doc! Keep an eye out for the super 6 notice that will be delivered to you on Friday.

ROAD CROSSING CHANGES

You may have noticed that there are changes to the traffic lights on the corner of Meeanee Road and Murphy Road. Due to the nature of this work this will now become the safest entry point to our kura as the current Kea Crossing (Meeanee Road) will be removed by the Napier City Council over the next two weeks. We will be ceasing to use that crossing as of tomorrow due to the safety issues that would create for the current roadworks as well as the fact that it will be removed anyway.

We will still staff the area of the current Kea Crossing, however this will be to direct our learners up to the lights. Learners with scooters and bikes can still access our school on Meeanee Road but will need to walk their 'vehicles' down the footpath on the school side of Meeanee Road after crossing at the lights. We ask that you aid us to ensure that your tamariki understand this as it will be very unsafe for any of our learners to try to cross Meeanee Road anywhere other than at the traffic light crossing.

We would also ask that those Road Patrollers rostered on to Meeanee Road continue to do so, but will instead be posted at the traffic lights to assist in that area.

Please make sure you have your stick, shinpads and mouthguard ready to go. If you can't make your practice, please let your team's coach or manager know.

Boys 1st Team- Mondays 3-4:30pm with Mrs Barber / Thursday 3-4.30pm with Brad

Red Team- Tuesdays 3:30- 4:15pm with Connor

White Team- Wednesdays 3pm-4pm with Mr Baty

Black Team- Wednesdays 3pm-4pm with Nicole and Wayne

Mixed 2nd Team- Thursdays 3.30-4.30pm with Jacqui. Start 9th May.
